Accordion System
Our trademarked 6.8 system has one of the tightest blade stacks in the industry. For every foot of opening our blades stack to one inch, making the 6.8 accordion almost undetectable on your home. The 6.8's locking procedure is very simple and easy to use when compared to other shutter system's six-step process. First, engage the centers and second, deploy the locking device. No additional rods or devices are required.

Storm Panels
Our .040" .050" and .060" panels carry statewide product approval, including .050 & .0615 for Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Our ultra light .018" (28 ga.) and .023" (24 ga.) galvanized steel panels with rolled safety edges are tested for large missile impact to SSTD-12 standards or A.S.T.M. E1886 and E1996 guidelines.
Tested to perform in wind zones in excess of 150 mph in accordance with the new 2004 Florida Building Code wind standard (ASCE 7-98). Our storm panels are tested for large missile impact from wind born debris in accordance with SSTD-12-99, A.S.T.M. E1886-E1996 or Miami-Dade PA 201 202 203.
